Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using YORO Health services — including our WhatsApp channel, website (yorohealth.com), or any visit facilitated through our platform — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all users, including customers, family members coordinating care on behalf of a senior, and NRI families managing care remotely.
2. Nature of Service
YORO Health is an on-demand care coordination platform that connects trained caregivers and nursing aides with senior residents within designated residential clusters in Pune. We are a technology-enabled service provider. We facilitate care visits; we are not a hospital, a licensed medical institution, or an ambulance service.
3. Service Limitations — Medical vs. Emergency Care
YORO Health caregivers provide supportive and non-emergency services including: companionship, medication reminders, vital sign monitoring (BP, SpO₂, glucose, heart rate), wound dressing assistance (post-surgical, non-acute), mobility assistance, and daily living support.
4. Response Time Disclaimer
YORO Health targets a caregiver dispatch confirmation within 10 minutes of a booking request during operational hours (7 AM – 10 PM IST). This is a best-effort target, not a contractual guarantee. Actual response times may vary due to caregiver availability in your cluster, traffic and access conditions within the residential complex, network or platform outages, and force majeure events. YORO Health shall not be held liable for delays in caregiver arrival arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control. For scheduled visits, a caregiver will be matched at least 2 hours before the appointment slot.
5. Access to Residential Premises
YORO Health currently operates within designated serviceable zones in Pune. By booking a service, you confirm that: (a) you have the authority to grant a YORO Health caregiver entry to the premises; (b) the resident or a responsible adult will be present or has made arrangements for the caregiver's access; (c) you will inform your residential welfare association (RWA) or society management if visitor pre-registration is required. YORO Health is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by denied entry at the gate or society security desk. No refund is issued if entry is refused by society security at the customer's premises.
6. Caregiver Standards & Conduct
All YORO Health caregivers are background-verified and trained to our internal standards. However, caregivers are engaged as service professionals and are not employees of CuroClan Pvt. Ltd. in all cases. YORO Health is responsible for the quality of care coordination. If you experience unsatisfactory service, please report it immediately via WhatsApp or email. We investigate all complaints within 48 hours.
7. Workplace Safety & Mutual Respect
At YORO Health, we believe that the best care happens in an environment of mutual trust. To ensure our caregivers can focus entirely on the well-being of your loved one, we require the following from our customers:
- Dignity & Professionalism: Our caregivers and nurses are trained professionals and are to be treated with the same respect as a visiting doctor. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for verbal, physical, or any form of harassment or discriminatory behavior.
- A Safe Environment: You agree to provide a safe and hygienic workspace within the premises. This includes ensuring that pets are appropriately restrained during the visit and disclosing any known safety hazards (e.g., broken flooring or faulty electrical points) in the area where care is provided.
- Professional Boundaries: To maintain service quality, please do not request caregivers to perform tasks outside their designated scope of service (such as heavy household chores, technical repairs, or personal errands not part of the care plan). Our team is strictly prohibited from accepting personal loans or significant gifts from clients.
- Privacy & Recording: While we respect the use of home security cameras for safety, the recording of caregivers for non-security purposes or the sharing of their image/likeness on social media without explicit consent is strictly prohibited.
YORO Health reserves the right to immediately terminate service and withdraw a caregiver if these safety and respect standards are breached, without a refund for the remaining visit or subscription period.
8. Health Monitoring Data
Vitals and health observations recorded during visits are shared with the family contact on record via WhatsApp summary. These records are informational and not a substitute for diagnosis or clinical opinion by a licensed medical professional. YORO Health does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or prescriptions.
9. Payment Terms
Payment is due after each completed visit unless you are on a pre-paid plan. Accepted methods include UPI, debit/credit card, and net banking. Cash is accepted for on-demand visits at the caregiver's discretion. For NRI families, USD, GBP, and AUD payments are accepted via card. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, CuroClan Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for: indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; loss of life or personal injury arising from emergency situations where 108 or hospital services were not engaged; property damage at the customer's premises; or outcomes resulting from inaccurate health history provided by the customer. Our total aggregate liability under any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific visit giving rise to the claim.
11. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra. We encourage all disputes to be first raised via our grievance redressal channel at care@yorohealth.com before initiating legal proceedings.
12. Changes to Terms
YORO Health reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published with a revised effective date. Continued use of the service after publication constitutes acceptance.
